The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division conducts criminal investigations relating to narcotic drug laws and other dangerous substances.
The division works closely with the D.E.A. Task Force and others to dramatically impact the illicit sale and possession of illegal drugs.
A dual purpose Canine Team is assigned to Narcotics, with Highway Interdiction as it’s primary duties. The Canine Team further promotes public awareness through public presentations.
