The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office is comprised of over 500 dedicated men and women. We have two major divisions in our department, The Law Enforcement Division and the Detention Division. Each division is overseen by a Chief Deputy and Assistant Chief Deputy. We are one of the largest law enforcement agency in West Texas. We act as a regional asset to the surrounding counties that request assistance from our specialized teams. These include our SWAT, Bomb Squad, K9, Negotiator, Honor Guard, and Mobile Operations Vehicle teams. We also have a specialize Detention Response Team inside our county facility that trains regionally.
