The Honor Guard Team represents the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office by performing ceremonial functions and events. The primary duty of the Honor Guard is to present honors to fallen law enforcements at funeral and memorial services. The Honor Guard also proudly performs at community and civic events including color guard duty for parades and other civic events. They also work closely with other agencies honor guard and perform as joint regional team.
Members of the Honor Guard are selected via aboard process from existing Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office Employees. They must hold a Peace Officer or Jailer’s License with a Jailer’s Firearm Certification. Honor Guard Members are required to attend drill monthly.
